First Hair Shave

Tonight, daddy shaved Yi's hair off. Finally, after 8 plus months of nice, long wispy hair, he is now a "little monk'! I must commend Yi for being daddy's best customer ever (the other one being En of course). Yi barely twitched and happily played with his plastic Pooh bear while daddy's Philip razor did the ever-quick and neat shaving task.

En had his turn after Yi. Of course, being older has its privileges. En watched Doraemon, currently his favourite cartoon (and we're really glad its in Mandarin) while daddy shaved his hair. En is more particular about cleanliness shall we say and I think he was ok today in terms of fussiness, i.e., just a little fussy. Typically, if any strand of hair drops on any part of his body, he would scream bloody murder!! (heh.. almost). His penchant for cleanliness sure does not translate to a very clean boy. He often gets all sweaty really fast, as parents of most boys would attest to that being a very peculiar characteristic of active boys.

Well, with the sweltering hot weather now, their shaven heads should be effective in helping them feel cool throughout the day!
